St Aloysius College Cronulla welcomes applications from experienced and collaborative educators seeking to join the College at an exciting time of growth.

We are currently seeking to employ a full time HSIE (1.0 FTE) permanent teacher to contribute to our vibrant learning community. The ability to teach Geography in stage 4 and 5 is essential for this position. Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney is a distinct advantage.

- demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education

- eligibility for registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools
n
- demonstrable success as a classroom teacher, with successful experience across a range of HSIE courses, particularly in stages 4 - 6 (Geography essential in stages 4 and 5)
n
- ability and demonstrated experience in using data and high-impact teaching strategies to maximise the learning growth of all students
n
- strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with students and other staff
n
- skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour support.
n
- practising Catholic with demonstrated commitment to the teachings of the Church and active engagement in a Catholic faith community
n
- demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events
n
- Religious Education qualifications as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
