One day per week. Practise to your full scope as an endorsed Nurse Practitioner in aged care. Flexible weekday scheduling.

The Role

/n

Working across Residential Aged Care Homes in Launceston and surrounding areas, you will provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, treatment and care planning for residents. You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary model alongside on-site nurses, General Practitioners, telehealth Geriatricians and Physicians, with dedicated administrative and operational support so your focus remains on delivering high-quality clinical care.

What You'll Bring

/n

/n

- Experience in aged care, gerontology, palliative care or chronic disease management is highly regarded

/n

- Advanced clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing and health promotion

/n

- Strong clinical reasoning, communication and leadership capabilities

/n

- Experience in quality improvement and evidence-based practice

/n

- Sound knowledge of aged care legislation and regulatory requirements

/n

- Current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and appropriate professional indemnity insurance

/n

- Comfortable using technology and clinical software systems

/n

Qualifications

- Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)

/n

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with Nurse Practitioner endorsement
