Skills Required: /n
/n
- Own transport to travel to clients homes (can travel up to 25-30 minutes)
/n
- Qualification (Cert III or IV in Aged Care/Individual Support or Disability) or Nursing students
/n
- Strong empathy and compassion towards others
/n
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
/n
- Cleaning experience, reliable and attention to detail
/n
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
/n
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the social care industry
/n
Responsibilities: /n
/n
1. 1.
Provide direct assistance to clients with home duties and possible personal care
/n
1. 2. Assist clients with maintaining a clean-living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
/n
1. 3. Promote independence among clients by encouraging them to participate in activities that enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.
/n
1. 4. Establish positive relationships with clients through effective communication, active listening, and understanding their individual needs.
/n
1. 5. Maintain accurate records of client interactions including observations made during visits or shifts.
/n
1. 6. Report any changes or concerns regarding the client's health or well-being
/n
1. 7. Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations related to social care practices.
/n
Qualifications: /n
/n
1. 1. A valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle and insurance
/n
1. 2. Australian Federal Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
/n
1. 3. First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred
/n
1. 4. Qualification - Cert III or IV Individual Support or Aged Care or Disability (Nursing students please apply)
