BDA is looking for a Senior Technical Officer - Mechanical who will join the Air Combat and Electronic Attack Sustainment Program. In this role you will play a critical role in supporting the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler platforms at RAAF Amberley.

This role is based at Amberley.

n

As a Senior Technical Officer within BDA, you will

n

n
- Conduct continuing airworthiness management activities.
n
- Work as a senior member with the team, guiding and mentoring junior engineers.
n
- Provide technical Leadership in delivering minor and major capability upgrades to the various platforms from the concept stage to aircraft in service.
n

About you

n

To be successful in this role you will have:

n

n
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the aviation industry.
n
- Technical experience in an aircraft maintenance operational environment.
n
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership in a major project setting.
n
- Ability to collaborate and communicate aircraft technical related issues.
n
- Understanding and experience with complex Super Hornet & Growler systems will be highly regarded.
n
