The King David School in Armadale is seeking an empathetic, skilled, and collaborative Learning Support Teacher to join our Senior's School dedicated Student Wellbeing team.

n

This is a 0.5 Part Time ongoing position, commencing 1 February 2027.

n

In this pivotal role, you will facilitate learning for students with defined learning difficulties and disabilities. You will identify student needs, implement evidence-based remediation strategies, and design tailored learning pathways that empower students to succeed academically and personally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES n

- Identify and assess students presenting learning difficulties, craft, implement and review Individual
n
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Learning Support lessons.
n
- Partner co-operatively with classroom teachers, Heads of School, Year Level Coordinators, and School Psychologists to provide practical advice and differentiated teaching strategies.
n
- Assist in developing inclusive programs and contributing to funding applications and documentation for students with disabilities.
n
- Maintain up-to-date NCCD records and keep comprehensive,



accurate student reports in alignment with relevant Privacy regulations and school policy.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS nn
- Tertiary Teaching Qualification with Secondary teaching credentials.
n
- Proven experience as a Learning Support Teacher within a school setting, ideally working across a diverse secondary age range.
n
- Extensive knowledge and practical application of a wide range of special education test instruments.
n
- Must hold a current Teaching Registration (VIT).
