Role: Maintenance Technician
Company: Leading FMCG Business with great reputation & culture
Salary: $125-135,000 + super
Candidate: Qualified Fitter OR Electrician with FMCG/Food Experience
Shift: Monday to Friday12:00pm – 8:00pm
n We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business.

n

The Role
n Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring plant and equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently. You will carry out both planned and breakdown maintenance , fault finding and repairs across a highly automated food manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery
n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faults
n
- Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment
n
- Carry out equipment servicing, repairs and adjustments
n
- Respond to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
n




- Assist with continuous improvement and maintenance projects
n
- Maintain a safe and compliant working setting
n
- Work closely with production and other maintenance team members
n

n

About You
n We are open to candidates from either an electrical or mechanical background .
n You will ideally have:

n

n
- Trade qualification as an Electrician or Mechanical Fitter
n
- Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food production
n
- Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills
n
- Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving equipment issues
n
- Solid commitment to safety and quality
n

n

Electrical candidates: PLC, sensors, motors, VSDs and automated machinery experience would be advantageous.
Mechanical candidates: Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and production machinery would be highly regarded.
