The Opportunity: nn
- You’ll work closely with a diverse team to contribute to operational excellence for our Maintenance & Processing Departments at Gruyere Gold Mine.
n
- Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Reliability, you will be responsible for providing reliability engineering support to maintenance and operation teams.
n
- You will assist and contribute to problem identification, making recommendations and developing strategies and tactics that cost-effectively improve plant and equipment reliability and maintainability with the view to extending the life of all assets.
n

What You’ll Do: nn
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams in daily activities to provide practical engineering support.
n
- Develop and maintain fixed plant maintenance and reliability strategies to maximise equipment availability and minimise unplanned downtime.
n
- Lead root cause failure investigations and defect elimination to prevent repeat failures in critical plant assets.
n




- Analyse short- and long-term plant performance and reliability data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
n
- Review inspection and maintenance reports for fixed plant assets and raise work orders in SAP to address reliability risks.
n
- Lead reliability improvement initiatives for processing plant equipment from identification through to implementation.
n

What You’ll Bring: nn
- Proven experience in reliability and maintenance of critical gold processing assets, including crushers, conveyors, mills and pumps.
n
- Proficient in reliability engineering tools, including RCM, PMO, and root cause failure analysis.
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a growth mindset and a proactive, responsible approach.
