Our client is a Sunshine Coast-based law firm specialising in building and construction, commercial litigation and dispute resolution. They work closely with Principals and Owners, Contractors and Sub-contractors across residential, commercial, industrial and civil building and construction, and are known for delivering straightforward, cost-effective advice in a timely manner.

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join the team on a full-time, on-site basis in Maroochydore.

You will play a key role in managing commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, providing transparent, practical advice to clients navigating the complexities of the building and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage a caseload of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters from instruction through to resolution
n




- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client advice
n
- Provide clear, practical and timely advice to Principals, Owners, Contractors and Sub-contractors
n
- Prepare correspondence, pleadings and other litigation documentation
n
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
n
- Manage multiple matters concurrently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
n
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times while delivering an excellent standard of service
n

About You

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Law
n
- 3-5+ years' experience in commercial litigation
n
- Building and construction litigation experience will be highly regarded
n
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking
n
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and consultation skills
n
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters concurrently and accurately
n
- Self-managed and self-motivated approach to work
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Currently based on the Sunshine Coast or genuinely interested in relocating to the region
n
