About the opportunity

Join Bolton Clarke as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving strategic decision-making through financial insights, forecasting and business partnering. Influence outcomes across a complex national organisation while leveraging advanced analytics, Power BI and commercial expertise to identify opportunities, improve performance and deliver meaningful business impact.

Key activities

n

n
- Partner with senior leaders and operational teams to provide financial, operational and strategic advice, supporting informed decision-making and business performance improvement.
n
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes, working closely with managers and executives to develop accurate financial plans.
n
- Deliver management, executive and Board reporting, including performance analysis, trend reporting and statistical insights.
n
- Leverage tools such as Microsoft Power BI and IBM Cognos Planning Analytics to analyse large data sets, enhance reporting and identify business opportunities.
n
- Conduct scenario modelling, cost-benefit analysis and financial reviews to identify efficiency gains, cost savings and opportunities for improved business outcomes.

About you

n

A commercially astute finance professional with strong business partnering experience, advanced financial analysis and reporting skills, and expertise in budgeting, forecasting and performance insights. You are a confident stakeholder manager who can influence senior leaders, translate complex data into actionable recommendations,



and drive business improvement.

n

We would love to hear from you if you have:

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, with CA or CPA qualifications (or equivalent experience).
n
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or advisory role, providing financial, operational and strategic support within a fast-paced environment.
n
- Robust financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience, including preparation of management, executive and Board-level reports.
n
- Advanced data analytics and reporting capability, including extensive experience with Power BI, large datasets, data warehouses and advanced Excel skills.
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to provide decision support and partner effectively with senior leaders.
n
- Knowledge of IBM Cognos Planning Analytics and experience in complex, multi-site or geographically dispersed service organisations would be highly regarded.
