Byrne Civil Group is a growing civil contractor delivering projects across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter areas.

With an increasing number and variety of projects, we are looking for a Project Manager with formal qualifications and civil construction experience to join our team.

n

Our current projects include road upgrades, residential subdivisions, industrial and commercial developments, infrastructure and complex drainage and pipe works.

n

Working closely with the Directors, you will oversee projects from planning through to completion, coordinating Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and other project resources to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Coordinate Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and project teams.
n
- Manage client relationships and contractual requirements.
n
- Develop and monitor project programs and schedules.
n
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor engagement and project documentation.
n
- Monitor project costs, production and progress.
n
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and other resources.
n
- Ensure HSEQ requirements and project standards are maintained.
n
- Identify and address project issues as they arise.
n
- Work with the Directors and wider team to support efficient project delivery and continuous improvement.
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
n
- Experience in civil construction and project management.
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work across different project teams.
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
n
- A genuine interest in the civil construction industry.
n
- The motivation to grow with a developing business and contribute to its continued improvement.
