Position Description:
n This organisation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their passionate multidisciplinary team in Mount Isa. In this role, you will provide high-quality,



person-centred services across a diverse client base, supporting individuals to improve their independence, wellbeing, and participation in everyday life. Working within a supportive allied health team, you'll have the chance to develop broad clinical skills while making a meaningful difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Delivering Occupational Therapy services to children, adults, and older people

n

Conducting functional, cognitive, developmental, and environmental assessments

n

Supporting participation in home, school, work, and community settings

n

Recommending assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and home modifications

n

Providing education and support to clients, families, carers, and stakeholders

n

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external service providers

n

Preparing clinical reports and maintaining accurate documentation

n

Contributing to health promotion, early intervention, and community wellbeing initiatives

n

Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification

n

Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain)

n

Current C Class Driver's Licence

n

Strong written and verbal communication skills

n





Excellent organisational and time management abilities

n

High level of professionalism and attention to detail

n

Ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders

n

A genuine passion for rural and remote healthcare Highly Regarded

n

Experience in community health, disability, NDIS, aged care, or paediatrics

n

Knowledge of assistive technology, home modifications, and functional assessments

n

Previous experience working within multidisciplinary teams
