Fleck Group is looking for an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our team, based out of our Box Hill yard.
The role will involve a mixture of mobile field work and yard-based repairs, primarily working across our fleet of earthmoving and heavy plant equipment.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with hydraulic hoses, fittings and hydraulic systems
- Experience working on earthmoving and heavy plant equipment
- MR Truck Licence – (Able to help the right candidate obtain)
- Ability to diagnose hydraulic faults and carry out repairs in the field
- Confident working independently on mobile breakdowns and repairs
- Positive communication and organisational skills
- Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
- General mechanical knowledge is highly regarded and would be an advantage
The role will include:
- Manufacturing and replacing hydraulic hoses
- Diagnosing hydraulic leaks and faults
- Mobile breakdown and repair work
- Hydraulic repairs and maintenance on excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers and other plant
- Preventative maintenance and inspections
- Assisting with general mechanical repairs where required
- Working between our Box Hill yard and customer/job sites throughout Sydney
We’re looking for someone reliable, experienced and capable of taking ownership of the hydraulic side of our growing fleet.
