Early Childhood Educator (Diploma or Certificate III)

We are seeking a qualified Diploma or Certificate III Educator to join our community-based early childhood service. This position will initially be a leave-cover role for the remainder of , with the potential for extension or a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities
n
Support children's learning and development using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) V2.0 and the planning cycle
n
Participate in nature-based learning and Bush Kinder programs
n
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community
n
Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures
n
Demonstrate a genuine commitment to child safety, child protection, and continuous quality improvement
n
Work flexibly within an 8-hour shift rostered between 7:00am and 6:00pm
n
About you
n
Diploma or Certificate III Educator qualification (experience highly regarded)
n
Current employee-cleared NSW Working With Children Check
n
Explicit National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
n




Completion of the Foundations of Child Safety (Geccko Training), with certificate provided with application
n
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
n
Competence in using computers and online programming platforms
n
An interest in nature-based learning and Bush Kinder programs
n
Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) V2.0 and the planning cycle
