We are representing a highly respectednot-for-profit, religious-based organisationseeking an experiencedOperations Manager – Early Yearsto oversee the day-to-day operations of a well-established 53-place Early Learning Centre in North Sydney.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced operational leader to join a stable and highly cohesive team. The service has achievedExceeding ratings on two occasionsand has a strong reputation for quality, inclusion and community connection.
n
The centre provides long day care for children aged approximately two months to five years, including an eight-place nursery. The service has a highly experienced Educational Leader who has been with the organisation for 15 years, a full-time administrator, dedicated educators and a part-time cook.
n
This role is ideally suited to someone with strongoperational management experience. While Early Childhood experience is advantageous, a childcare background is not essential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities nn
- Oversee the day-to-day operational management of the Early Learning Centre
n
- Support and lead a diverse team of approximately 19 employees across educators, ECTs, administration, educational leadership and kitchen staff
n
- Work closely with the Educational Leader to support quality outcomes
n
- Manage inclusion support and ensure children and families receive appropriate assistance
n
- Build strong and positive relationships with families and the broader community
n
- Review, develop and implement policies and procedures
n
- Maintain compliance and ensure systems and processes remain up to date
n
- Oversee payroll and key administrative functions
n
- Support staffing and operational requirements
n
- Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to maintain a positive team culture
n
- Drive continuous improvement across the service
n
- Ensure a smooth transition and effective implementation of established systems and processes
n
What You'll Need nn
- Demonstrated experience in an operational management role
n
- Strong people leadership and communication skills
n
- Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities
n
- Experience managing teams and operational processes
n
- Confidence working with policies, procedures and compliance requirements
n
- Strong relationship-building skills with families, employees and stakeholders
n
- A collaborative and solutions-focused leadership style
n
- Early Childhood experience is advantageous butnot essential
n
- Relevant qualifications will be highly regarded
