As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to grow referral partnerships across our Western Sydney clinics.
n
About the Role
n
This is a field-based sales role focused on building and maintaining referral relationships with general practitioners, medical centres, NDIS support coordinators and aged care providers within an assigned territory.
n
Working closely with Executive Leadership, you will be responsible for generating new referral sources, maintaining existing relationships and reporting on activity and outcomes.
n
This role offers structured mentoring, a clear progression pathway to Senior Business Development Manager, and exposure to all areas of a growing healthcare organisation.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Referral Development
n
n
- Conduct daily face-to-face visits to medical centres, GP practices and referral partners within an assigned territory.
n
- Book and attend GP meetings, practice lunches and networking events.
n
- Identify and onboard current referral sources across Workers Compensation, CTP, NDIS, Support at Home and Medicare streams.
n
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing referrers.
n
n
Activity and Reporting
n
n
- Log all visits, contacts and outcomes in the CRM on the same day.
n
- Follow up all referrals and enquiries within 24 hours.
n
- Provide a weekly activity and outcomes report to management.
n
- Meet agreed weekly targets for visits, meetings and new referrers.
n
n
Territory Management
n
n
- Plan and manage a weekly visit schedule across the assigned territory.
n
- Maintain accurate referrer records, contact details and service pathway information.
n
- Support marketing initiatives and community engagement activities within the territory.
n
n
Performance Measures
n
n
- Visits completed per week.
n
- Meetings and lunches booked and attended.
n
- New referrers onboarded per month.
n
- Referrals received from the assigned territory.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
- 1–2 years' experience in sales, account management, customer service or a similar customer-facing role.
n
- Confidence in approaching new contacts face to face.
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Excellent organisation and follow-through.
n
- Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
n
- Valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
- Experience within healthcare, allied health, disability, aged care, pharmaceutical or medical sales.
n
- Understanding of NDIS, Workers Compensation, CTP, Medicare or aged care funding streams.
n
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
n
- Cultural awareness and foreign language skills, particularly Vietnamese, Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Greek or Hindi.
n
