DDS Nanango is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our friendly and supportive pharmacy team.
n
We are looking for someone with previous community pharmacy and dispensary experience who is confident working in a busy dispensary setting and can provide reliable support to our pharmacists and wider pharmacy team.
n
About the Role
n
As a Dispensary Technician, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Supporting pharmacists with day-to-day dispensary operations
n
Processing prescriptions and assisting with dispensary workflow
n
Preparing and managing Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) where required
n
Maintaining accurate patient and medication records
n
Managing stock, including ordering, receiving and maintaining dispensary stock
n
Assisting with general dispensary administration
n
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
n
Providing friendly and professional customer service
n
Working collaboratively with pharmacists and other pharmacy team members
n
Following pharmacy procedures, policies and relevant professional requirements
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
Previous dispensary technician experience in a community pharmacy
n
Strong knowledge of dispensary processes and pharmacy workflow
n
Experience with DAA packing is highly regarded
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
Good organisational and time-management skills
n
Robust communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
n
Reliable, positive and professional approach to work
n
Previous experience with pharmacy dispensing and DAA software will be highly regarded
n
