About the Role
Exceed Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal / Boilermaker / Fabricator / Welder to join our growing team.
The successful applicant will be involved in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of a wide range of sheet metal products, working from engineering drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
Mark out, cut, fold, roll, and fabricate sheet metal components.
Operate fabrication equipment.
Perform welding and assembly of fabricated components where required.
Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets specifications and company standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Trade qualification in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, or relevant industry experience.
5+ years experience highly regarded.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience operating sheet metal fabrication machinery.
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Valuable problem-solving skills and a positive attitude toward safety.
Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
Desirable
MIG/TIG welding experience essential.
Forklift licence.
Experience in stainless steel mild steel and aluminium fabrication.
