Crossroads Hotel is looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. If you take pride in your craft, have experience with hand stretched Pizza Dough and want to work in a busy, well-established venue with a loyal local following, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

- Prepare and cook pizzas to a consistent, high standard using our venue's recipes and techniques
- Manage the pizza section during busy service periods, working efficiently under pressure
- Maintain stock levels, ordering and rotation for pizza ingredients
- Uphold food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times
- Work collaboratively with the broader kitchen team and support other sections when needed
- Contribute ideas for specials and menu improvements

About you

- Minimum 5 years previous experience as a pizza chef or in a similar high-volume kitchen role
- Must hold at least a Cert III Commercial Cookery Certificate
- Robust knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation and pizza cooking techniques
- A genuine passion for quality food and consistency
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays




- Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)
