Mental Health Clinician - Community Mental Health

Are you an experienced Mental Health Clinician looking for meaningful work in a supportive community setting? We are seeking passionate and skilled clinicians to join Rockhampton Community Mental Health Services.

About the Role

n

In this community-based position, you will provide recovery-focused mental health support to adults experiencing moderate to severe mental health concerns. You'll deliver assessments, care planning, therapeutic interventions, and outreach support as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to improving mental health outcomes. Specialities include CYMHS, Older Persons, Adult Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments
n
- Develop and implement individualised care and recovery plans
n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
n
- Work collaboratively with internal and external service providers
n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes
n
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews,



and multidisciplinary planning
n

About You

n

n
- You are a Registered Nurse - Mental Health, Social Worker, Clinical Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist
n
- AHPRA or relevant professional registration (where applicable)
n
- Minimum of at least 2 years post graduate experience working in community mental health, acute mental health, or case management
n
- Confident in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic engagement
n
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
n
- Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
n
- CIMHA Experience highly desirable
n
