We specialise in providing high-quality sightseeing, cultural, educational and guided tour experiences for domestic and international visitors. Our services include organised day tours, sightseeing tours, regional excursions and customised tour experiences.

We are seeking an experienced Tour Guide whois reliable, professional, friendly and customer-focused. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a genuine commitment to providing safe, informative and enjoyable experiences for our guests.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

The Roles n

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

n

- Meeting and greeting visitors and providing a professional and welcoming introduction to the tour
n
- Planning, organising and conducting sightseeing, educational, cultural and regional tours
n
- Escorting visitors throughout tours and ensuring activities follow the planned itinerary
n
- Providing informative commentary and explaining the history, culture, features and significance of local attractions and points of interest
n




- Answering visitor questions and providing accurate information about destinations, attractions and tour activities
n
- Planning and rearranging tour schedules and itineraries when required
n
- Coordinating transportation arrangements and arranging entry to attractions and places of interest
n
- Maintaining attendance records, booking information and other relevant tour documentation
n
- Monitoring visitor safety and providing clear instructions and assistance throughout tours
n
- Providing high-quality customer service and handling visitor enquiries or concerns in a qualified manner
n

The position Requires n

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment.

n

n
- Relevant qualification such as AQF Certificate II or III in Tourism, Travel, Hospitality or a related field, or relevant industry experience
n
- Proven experience working as a Tour Guide, Tour Escort, Tour Leader or in a similar role
n
- Experience planning, organising and conducting guided tours
n
- Good knowledge of local attractions, destinations, history, culture and points of interest
n
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
n
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to provide clear, informative and engaging commentary
n
- Ability to manage tour schedules, itineraries and visitor groups
n
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence preferred, where driving duties are required
n

The candidate must have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, a professional presentation, and a reliable work ethic.
