About the Role n
Working alongside experienced Personal Assistants, this is a hands-on position supporting the high-volume administrative workload associated with delivering taxation and business services to sophisticated clients.
n
The role is practical and wide-ranging, encompassing client correspondence, document collation, taxation return lodgements, database maintenance, and general administrative support.
n
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar client services / administrative position within an Australian accounting practice, experience working with the ATO, and be able to step into the role with minimal training.

This is a full-time, office-based position in lovely,
well-appointed offices located in Melbourne's inner south-eastern suburbs. The working hours are 8.45 am to 5.30 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
Key Responsibilities n

- Assisting the Personal Assistants with day-to-day and project-based tasks
n
- Managing high volumes of electronic and paper correspondence
n
- Collating financial statements and income tax returns
n
- Coordinating the lodgement of taxation returns
n
- Assisting with client onboarding and maintaining accurate client records
n
- Drafting correspondence and preparing communications on behalf of Directors
n
- Preparing Excel worksheets and undertaking data entry
n
- Maintaining the firm’s practice management database
n
- Maintaining accurate and organised electronic filing systems
n
- Answering and screening telephone callsMeeting and greeting clients
n
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail and recording outgoing mail
n
- Filing, photocopying and scanning
n
- Providing reception relief when required
n
- Supporting the team with additional projects and administrative tasks
n
About You n
Previous client services / administration experience within an accounting firm is essential. Please note that applicants without previous client services or administration experience within an Australian accounting firm will not be considered.
