About the role
n
A great opportunity for somebody with a finance background looking to expand their skills and embark on new challenges in an ever-changing industry.
n
We are looking for a motivated, dedicated, self-managed accounts receivable officer to join our team
n
On-board new residents into finance system using Residential Agreements
n
Perform all duties related to resident accounts such as monthly billing, receipting and banking, monthly retentions, monthly direct debit, refund of fees and RAD, etc.
n
Liaise with Services Australia Aged Care Provider regarding debtor enquiries
n
Ensure any prudential letters are sent out in a timely manner
n
Provide bookkeeping and accounting duties accurately and in a timely manner
n
Prepare petty cash reconciliations
n
Manage centrepay deductions
n
Prepare reconciliations of related accounts.
Including trade debtors, means tested care fees and non-clinical care contributions fee
n
Provide guidance to relevant staff and managers on accounts receivable procedures
n
Handle telephone enquiries in a professional manner
n
Ensure that all reporting requested by key stakeholders is completed and forwarded accurately and in a timely manner
n
Provide administration support to the Corporate Office as required
n
Participate in meetings and conference calls as and when required
n
Performing any other duties as required and as appropriate for the incumbent's level of competence
n
Follow-up with clients regarding the expected RAD receipts and refund
n
Follow-up with clients regarding outstanding Debtors.

The successful applicant will
n
Have sound knowledge of the accounts receivable function within an organisation
n
A high level of computer literacy
n
Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role
n
Ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity
n
Highly developed interpersonal skills
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Sound time management skill
n
