nThe Co-Worker Health Registered Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of employees throughout their employment journey. This position collaborates closely with co-workers, leaders, and regulatory agencies to provide occupational health services, promote workplace wellness, manage employee health programs, and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and organizational requirements. Essential Responsibilitiesn

nPlan, coordinate, and administer all Co-Worker Health services in compliance with federal and state regulations and accreditation standards.n
n
nConduct pre-employment health assessments, including medical history reviews, drug testing, laboratory work, immunization verification, and additional screenings as indicated.n
n
nManage and administer employee tuberculosis (TB) screening programs in accordance with regulatory requirements.n
n
nPerform respirator fit testing and provide required education and training.n
n
nCoordinate and administer annual influenza and other employee immunization programs, including assessment of vaccine contraindications, education on potential side effects, and documentation.n
n




nProvide first aid and follow-up care for employees experiencing work-related injuries or illnesses.n
n
nCollaborate with leaders, supervisors, and employees to facilitate return-to-work and restricted-duty programs.n
n
nServe as Workers' Compensation Coordinator as assigned, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, injury tracking, case management, and communication with providers, leadership, and third-party partners.n
n
nMaintain accurate employee health records and ensure strict confidentiality of all medical information.n
n
nPrepare and present monthly and annual reports to support organizational compliance and regulatory requirements.n
n
nMonitor regulatory changes and recommend updates to employee health policies, procedures, and practices.n
n
nPromote employee wellness and participate in committees related to wellness, safety, infection prevention, and environmental health.n
n
nCommunicate effectively through clear, accurate, and skilled verbal and written interactions.n
n
nPerform all duties in accordance with the organization's mission, values, and service standards.n

nQualificationsn

nEducationn

nGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing.n
n
nBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.n

nLicensuren
n
nCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.n

nExperiencen

nOccupational Health, Employee Health, Workers' Compensation, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management experience preferred.n

nKnowledge of employee health regulations, immunization programs, and workplace safety practices preferred.n
