As a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for driving the commissioning process from installation through to integrated systems testing and handover.

n
n

You’ll work closely with the project team, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and client to ensure all building services are fully tested, commissioned and ready for operation.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Developing and managing commissioning plans and programmes.
n
n
- Managing pre‑commissioning, functional testing and integrated systems testing.
n
n
- Reviewing commissioning documentation.
n
n
- Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, consultants and specialist commissioning agents.
n
n
- Identifying and resolving defects and commissioning issues.
n
n
- Managing testing schedules and ensuring commissioning milestones are achieved.
n
n
- Supporting client witnessing, demonstrations and final handover.
n
n
- Maintaining detailed commissioning records and documentation.
n
n

- Experience commissioning technically complex building services (MEP) projects.
n
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical (or Trade qualified).
n
n
- Experience with functional performance testing and integrated systems testing.
n
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
n
- A methodical, detail-focused approach to testing and documentation.
n
n
- Confidence to coordinate multiple contractors and stakeholders in a live construction environment.
n
n
- Full working rights in Australia.
