We're currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join an upcoming shutdown at Kogan Creek Power Station in regional Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a Tier 1 industrial shutdown , alongside experienced maintenance teams on a major power generation site. About the Role n
As a Mechanical Fitter , you will be responsible for supporting maintenance and shutdown activities across the Kogan Creek Power Station.
n
Duties will include:
n
n
- Mechanical maintenance,
repairs and servicing of industrial equipment
n
- Equipment installation, inspection and fault finding
n
- Mechanical assembly and component replacement
n
- Working alongside experienced shutdown crews to complete critical maintenance works safely and efficiently
n
- Following site procedures, safety standards and quality requirements
n
n
You will be part of a skilled industrial maintenance team delivering essential shutdown works within a high-performing setting.
Requirements n
n
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience working on industrial shutdowns (essential)
n
- Previous experience within power generation, mining, oil & gas, heavy industrial or resources environments
n
- Strong mechanical maintenance experience
n
- Current Working at Heights (completed or renewed within the last 2 years)
n
- Current Confined Space (completed or renewed within the last 2 years)
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
n
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork
