About this Role n

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Tennis Coach to build upon and contribute to the success of the Ascham Sports Program, working 12 hours per week and with a focus on team training and Saturday Sport.

Working as part of a collaborative team to drive Ascham Tennis to the next level, you’ll deliver innovative and engaging on-court tennis sessions,



and ensure every student is well supported regardless of ability or age; and in a safe and friendly environment that encourages excellence and a love of lifelong physical activity.

What You Will Do n

- Coach student-athletes, supporting academic achievement and sporting excellence
n
- Collaborate with the Head Coach, Tennis and key stakeholders to deliver a high-quality Tennis program
n
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate tennis programs, including player development pathways, trials, team selections, and competitive coaching opportunities.
n
- Attend and coach on Saturdays and midweek, supporting growth and performance of Ascham players
n
- Monitor program effectiveness and maintain accurate program administration
n
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, student well being, and compliance.
n

What You Will Bring nn
- Tennis Junior Development Coach accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Demonstrated tennis coaching experience within a youth sports context (students aged 4 to 18)
n
- Professionalism, confidentiality and ability to drive holistic sports involvement with initiative and passion
n
- Ability to submit student reports that demonstrate an understanding and care of each participant
n
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
n
- Proven collaboration and people management skills
n
- Ability to be an effective team member, assist colleagues and share resources
n
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate as well as a valid Working with Children clearance.
