About The Opportunity

n

WesTrac is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Supervisor to lead our onsite Parts operation at Cadia Mine, supporting one of Australia's premier gold mining operations near Bathurst, NSW.

n

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the onsite Parts Department, ensuring parts availability, efficient inventory control, exceptional customer service, and strong leadership of a high-performing team. Working directly within the mine environment, you will play a critical role in supporting equipment reliability and minimising downtime for mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Parts team.
n
- Oversee daily Parts Department operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy and service excellence.
n
- Drive exceptional customer service through effective parts interpreting and issue resolution.
n
- Manage inventory, stock levels, transfers and deliveries to maximise parts availability.
n
- Collaborate with Service and Operations teams to support customer and business requirements.
n
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and profitability.

Skills And Experience

n

n
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within parts, warehousing, mining, construction or heavy equipment industries.
n




- Minimum 5 years' experience in parts sales, parts interpreting or product support operations.
n
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment components, inventory management and customer support.
n
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build capability and drive performance outcomes.
n
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem‐solving skills.
n
- Forklift Licence and Caterpillar, mining or DBS systems experience highly regarded.
