The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Supervisor / Project Manager to join a growing commercial construction business, taking ownership of projects from planning and delivery through to completion.

This is a hands‑on senior project role for someone who understands that successful project delivery is about more than just keeping the construction program moving. Financial control, budgeting, cost management and commercial performance are essential components of the role.

You will work closely with senior management, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned electrical commercial construction projects
- Manage project budgets, costs, variations, forecasting and financial reporting
- Maintain strong financial control and ensure projects achieve targeted margins
- Develop and manage construction programs, procurement schedules and project milestones
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
- Manage contracts, variations, claims and commercial negotiations
- Monitor project performance, identifying and resolving issues before they impact cost or program
- Maintain robust relationships with clients, consultants and key project stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality, safety and compliance standards
- Provide regular project updates and financial reporting to senior management




- Lead and support site teams to maintain a high standard of project delivery

About You

You will be an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong commercial construction background and a proven track record of delivering projects successfully.

Importantly, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of project financial control, budgeting and cost management
- Experience managing project budgets and forecasting final project outcomes
- Strong contract and commercial management skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, programming and procurement

Highly Desirable

Experience delivering multi-residential high-rise projects would be highly regarded, particularly candidates who have managed complex projects involving multiple subcontractors, consultants and significant project budgets.

- $160,000 - $180,000 + super, dependent on experience
