Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Venue Services Coordinator to join our team at a Recreation Precinct in Townsville.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive team delivering high-quality customer service and operational outcomes at a busy and vibrant recreation venue.
About the Role n
As the Venue Services Coordinator, you will play an important role in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of venue services, supporting staff and contractors, and ensuring customers, clients and stakeholders receive a high level of service.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Leading and supporting the customer service team to deliver high-quality services to customers and stakeholders.
n
- Supervising staff and agency contractors, including onboarding, rostering, training and ongoing support.
n
- Coordinating venue functions and events, including client inductions, equipment setup and pack down, reception services and client relationship management.
n
- Supporting the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
n
- Ensuring venue operations comply with workplace health and safety, fire safety, environmental and other legislative requirements.
n
- Supporting event risk management procedures and promoting safe and inclusive work practices.
n
- Coordinating administrative tasks including payments, data entry, records management and maintaining accurate documentation.
n
- Promoting venue products and services and identifying opportunities to maximise business outcomes.
n
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, community groups and other partners.
n
- Communicating effectively with customers, staff,
contractors and stakeholders at all levels.
n
About You n
We are looking for someone who is confident working in a busy customer-focused environment and can effectively coordinate people, operations and competing priorities.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
- Previous experience in customer service, venue operations, recreation, hospitality, events or a similar environment.
n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
n
- Experience supervising, coordinating or supporting staff and/or contractors.
n
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
n
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
n
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety and the importance of maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
n
Mandatory Requirements nn
- Positive Blue Card – mandatory

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate – mandatory
n
