Job Description

Navia is a fast-growing, fully integrated freight and logistics company spanning sea, air, customs and 3PL and we're looking for a hands-on Warehouse 2IC to help drive our Melbourne Distribution Centre.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll step up as the senior operational leader on the floor - supervising team leaders, pickers/packers and forklift operators, keeping receiving, picking, packing and dispatch running smoothly, and deputising for the Warehouse Manager when they're away.

What you'll bring:

n

n
- 3+ years' warehouse/distribution experience, with 1-2 years supervising a team
n
- Current forklift (LF) licence high-reach/order-picker highly regarded
n
- Solid WMS/ERP exposure (SAP, Pronto, Manhattan or similar) plus confident Excel skills
n
- Solid WHS knowledge and a genuine safety-first mindset
n
- The ability to lead a diverse shift-based team, prioritise under pressure and hit tight deadlines
n
- Physically capable of lifting and moving stock safely,



in line with manual handling procedures and workplace safety requirements.

What you'll be doing:

- Rostering, coaching and performance-managing your team
n
- Driving order accuracy, on-time dispatch and inventory accuracy targets
n
- Running cycle counts, resolving discrepancies and optimising slotting
n
- Championing safety, compliance and continuous improvement
n

n

Hours:

n

Shifts fall between 7am-6pm Mon-Fri, with occasional weekend work depending on contracts coming through.
