We are looking for an experience Leasing and Property Consultant (commercial focus) to support in the leasing, administration and management of AKG’s national property portfolio.

The Opportunity n

n
- Support leasing activities across AKG's national property portfolio, including lease renewals, relocations, consolidations, expansions, and new site acquisitions.
n
- Coordinate the preparation, review, execution, and administration of lease documentation in conjunction with internal stakeholders and internal/external legal advisers.
n
- Maintain strong landlord and agent relationships to support positive commercial outcomes and efficient issue resolution.
n
- Administer lease obligations including rent reviews, market reviews, CPI increases, outgoings reconciliations, option exercise dates, lease expiries, and make good obligations.
n
- Undertake property inspections and site visits as required to identify maintenance, compliance, operational, and lease-related issues.
n
- Monitor landlord compliance with maintenance, repair, and building service obligations under lease agreements.

- Assist in resolving landlord, tenant,



and property-related disputes through effective stakeholder engagement and commercial negotiation.

- Coordinate lease commencement and lease exit processes, including handovers, dilapidation assessments, make good works, and landlord negotiations.

Would this describe you? nn
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial leasing and property management.
n
- Strong negotiation skills.
n
- Qualifications in Property Management, Property Economics, Law or Business
n
- Demonstrated experience administering a multi-site commercial property portfolio.
n
- Strong understanding of commercial lease documentation, lease administration, and lease negotiation processes.
n
- Experience managing landlord and agent relationships and negotiating commercial outcomes.
n
- Strong financial acumen with experience reviewing rents, outgoings, budgets, and occupancy costs.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
n
- Proven team player.
