$90,000 + super | 40 hours per week
We’re looking for an experienced Chef Manager to take the lead in the kitchen at Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College in North Sydney.
This is a role where your skills go beyond the plate.
You’ll be responsible for delivering fresh, quality food every day while helping create a welcoming, well-run kitchen setting for students, staff and your team.
As this is an educational workplace, you can enjoy something that’s increasingly hard to find in hospitality — a Monday to Friday roster, daytime hours and your evenings and weekends back.
What you’ll be responsible for
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operation, including:
Leading and managing kitchen operations with confidence and care
Preparing fresh, nutritious and high-quality food
Delivering bulk cooking for a busy education environment
Working hands-on across all areas of the kitchen
Providing friendly, skilled customer service
Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation
Working independently and using your initiative to keep service running smoothly
Supporting a positive, respectful and inclusive kitchen culture
