Clinical Nurse Specialist (Gde 2) - Front of House and Fast track - Perm FT/PT

n

You are an experienced and confident Registered Nurse with a passion for emergency nursing, clinical leadership and delivering exceptional patient-centred care. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can make sound clinical decisions under pressure, and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

n

Extensive Emergency Department and triage experience with a strong understanding of patient flow and emergency care processes.

n

Proven ability to lead and coordinate care delivery in real time within a busy clinical environment.

n

n
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor, coach and support nursing staff.
n
- Robust clinical judgement and the ability to identify, elevate and manage clinical risks effectively.
n
- A collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
n
- Knowledge of emergency department performance indicators, service improvement initiatives and contemporary best practice.
n
- A proactive, resilient and adaptable leadership style that supports staff engagement and a positive workplace culture.
n

Describe a time you applied critical thinking to lead safe, evidence-based care at triage or during a high-pressure scenario in ED. What was the challenge, what decisions did you make, and how did your actions impact patient outcomes or flow?
