We're looking forskilled Gardeners and Horticulture Team Members to join our team maintainingparks, sports fields, gardens and open spaces across Mornington, VIC .

What you'll be doing n

You'll be responsible for maintaining parks, gardens, sports fields and open spaces to a consistently high standard, including:

n

- Mowing and maintaining lawns, parks and sports fields
n
- Operatingride-on and zero-turn mowers
n
- Pruning, planting and fertilising
n
- Weed control and pest management
n
- Operating and maintaining horticultural machinery and equipment
n
- Maintaining gardens and landscaped areas
n
- Completing maintenance records and job documentation
n
- Following all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
n
- Supporting the broader horticulture and garden maintenance team as required
n

What we're looking for nn
- Previous experience inhorticulture, gardening, landscaping, parks and gardens or mowing operations
n
- Current MR Driver Licence
n
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Proven experience operatingride-on and zero-turn mowers
n
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and workplace health and safety
n
- Skilled work ethic and reliable attendance
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of work
n

DESIRABLE nn
- Chemical application experience and/or relevant chemical certificate
n
- Formal horticulture or landscaping qualifications
n
- Experience working in parks, sporting grounds or local government environments
n
