Our client is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Technology Consultant to lead the technical delivery and migration strategy for a large-scale unstructured data migration program. This high-profile role will focus on driving the successful migration of Shared Mailboxes, SharePoint Online, Shared Drives, and Power Platform solutions into a contemporary Microsoft 365 environment.

Description n

- Lead technical assessments, solution design, and migration strategy across all UDM workstreams.
n
- Coordinate migration waves, cutover planning, readiness assessments, validation, and hypercare activities.
n
- Manage technical dependencies, risks, assumptions, and remediation actions across the program.
n
- Facilitate workshops with business owners, architects, security, operations, and delivery teams.
n
- Coordinate technical SMEs and migration vendors to resolve delivery blockers and support execution.
n
- Support governance forums, executive reporting, design approvals, and operational handover activities.
n
- Lead analysis of Shared Drive data to determine ownership, migration readiness, business dependencies, and target-state requirements.
n




- Develop migration and remediation recommendations for Shared Drive content, including data rationalisation, permissions, security considerations, and migration wave planning.
n
- Drive business engagement and sign-off activities relating to Shared Drive scope, data quality, ownership, and migration outcomes.
n

Profile n

A successful Modern Workplace Technology Solution should have:

n

n
- 10+ years' experience in technology consulting, solution delivery, or enterprise migration programs.
n
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience, including: n n
- Exchange Online / Shared Mailboxes
n
- SharePoint Online
n
- OneDrive and Teams
n

n
- Experience delivering enterprise migration, collaboration, or data migration initiatives.
n
- Strong stakeholder, vendor, and governance management skills.
n
- Experience managing technical risks, dependencies, and delivery planning.
n
- Strong understanding of migration methodologies, cutover planning, and operational handover processes.
n
- Experience managing complex technical dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges.
n
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership teams.
