Join Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services as a Research Assistant supporting an exciting pilot project exploring the Care Ecosystem for Young Onset Dementia , in collaboration with the Neuropsychiatry Centre and Monash University.

n

You'll support participant recruitment and consenting, conduct assessments, provide navigation support and maintain research databases, working closely with consumers, clinical teams and research staff.

n

You'll be part of a collaborative research environment focused on translating evidence into improved care and support for people living with young onset dementia.

Key Accountabilities n

n
- Support ethics and governance applications and study protocols
n
- Recruit, consent and assess participants for research studies
n
- Coordinate participant appointments and provide navigation support
n
- Maintain research databases, data entry and study documentation
n
- Analyse data and contribute to reports and research outputs
n
- Work collaboratively with research, clinical and university partners
n
- Contribute to safe, inclusive and psychologically safe research practices
n

About You n

You bring:

n

n
- A relevant tertiary qualification or current study in health, human services, psychology, social work, counselling, community services, aged care, disability or a related field
n
- Experience in research recruitment, consenting and databasing
n
- Knowledge of dementia and its impact on individuals, families and carers
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
n
- Strong organisation and documentation skills
n




- Experience or an interest in neurological disorders is highly regarded
