About the Role n

We're looking for experienced Handymen, Carpenters and Trade All-Rounders to lead the on-site installation of prefabricated, expandable and modular homes.

n

You’ll be the lead person on site, working alongside builders, electricians, plumbers and other trades to take each installation from delivery through to completion. This is a hands‑on role, so we’re looking for someone who can turn their hand to a range of jobs, solve problems independently and confidently coordinate other trades when required.

You don’t need to be formally qualified across every trade. What matters most is broad hands‑on experience,



strong practical ability and a genuine can‑do attitude . Experience across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, waterproofing, tiling, roofing or general handyman work will all be valuable.

n

The work follows the installation sites, so regular travel is a key part of the role. You’ll be based around Melbourne, Hunter Valley or Brisbane , with projects taking place across regional and country areas throughout your state. Installations can range from several days to a couple of weeks or more depending on the size and complexity of the home.

What You’ll Be Doing n

n
- Lead prefabricated and modular home installations from start to finish
n
- Coordinate builders, electricians, plumbers and other trades on site
n
- Carry out hands‑on work across carpentry, waterproofing, tiling, roofing and general handyman tasks as required
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve unexpected site issues
n
- Guide other trades through the modular and prefab installation process
n
- Ensure installations are completed efficiently and to a high standard
n
- Keep the wider team updated on site progress and flag issues early
n
- Travel to regional and country installation sites as projects come up
n

This role suits someone who’s spent years working across different trades,



knows their way around a construction site and is comfortable being the person others look to when something needs to get done.

Requirements n

Extensive hands‑on experience across construction, trades or general handyman work

n

15+ years of varied trade experience preferred, although this is a guide rather than a strict requirement

n

Experience across multiple areas such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, waterproofing, tiling, roofing or general handyman work

n

Confident leading jobs on site and coordinating other trades

n

Solid practical problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently

n

Comfortable travelling regularly to regional and country installation sites

n

Own reliable vehicle for travel to and from sites

n

Strong reliability, communication and work ethic

n

Comfortable learning new modular and prefabricated installation methods

n

Australian working rights or an appropriate working visa

n

White Card preferred; additional site-specific licence requirements are currently being confirmed
