About You n

We are seeking an enthusiastic (2 point) Pastoral Leader to join our College and work in conjunction with the Leader of Pastoral Care/Assistant Principal - College.

n

It is critical to the success of St Aloysius College's ability to provide an educational setting that is nurturing, compassionate and just - wherein every student is able to develop their independence, initiative,



academic and leadership capabilities.

In this position, your primary duties will include:

n

n
- assisting with implementing the SCS student wellbeing programs identified by the Student Wellbeing and Learning Teams
n
- developing, implementing, measuring and evaluating robust, evidence-based programs and practices to support students' social and emotional wellbeing and holistic development
n
- facilitating the development of a secure, engaging, productive and inclusive learning culture and practices across the designated cohorts to promote positive behaviour management and self-efficacy
n
- leading the pastoral care staff allocated to the cohort to promote cohesive student wellbeing and learning approaches across the college, using systematic processes to monitor and
n
- implement effective responses to students’ wellbeing needs7
n
- developing and leading inclusive opportunities for students in the cohort to create a strong sense of belonging and positive relationships within the college.

It would be advantageous for applicants to be qualified to teach Religious Education with the ability to teach Studies of Religion 1 and 2 Unit. It would be advantageous for applicants to have a HSIE or CAPA teaching background. (One of these areas plus Religious Education).
