Graduate Environmental Consultant/Scientist

As a Graduate Environmental Consultant/Scientist, you will join our Sydney Environmental Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop practical field skills, technical consulting expertise, and client-facing experience while working alongside experienced environmental scientists, engineers, and geologists. From your first day, you will receive structured training, mentoring, and exposure to a diverse range of contaminated land and environmental assessment projects.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with environmental and contaminated land investigations
n
- Conduct soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling programs
n
- Undertake site inspections and environmental monitoring
n
- Perform soil logging and field observations
n
- Assist with waste classification assessments in accordance with EPA guidelines
n
- Analyse laboratory and field data
n
- Prepare technical reports and supporting documentation
n
- Support remediation and environmental management projects
n
- Work closely with senior consultants and project managers to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
n
- Contribute to multidisciplinary projects involving geotechnical and environmental teams
n

About you

n

- Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Earth Science, Geology, or a related discipline
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n




- Robust attention to detail and willingness to learn
n
- Positive attitude and a hands-on approach to fieldwork
n
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
n
- Previous environmental consulting or fieldwork experience (desirable)
n
- Understanding of contaminated land assessment processes (desirable)
