Community-based Team Leader role, based in Melbourne's north, north-east or east (other regions welcome to apply)

$95,000 - $105,000 + Super, based on experience

MRT Rehab is a growing, clinician-led Allied Health team supporting people to live more independently and achieve the outcomes that matter to them. We're a multidisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Care Coordination professionals who work together to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

We predominantly work within the Support at Home funding stream, in addition to NDIS and private clients.

About the Role

n

MRT Rehab is looking for our first Physiotherapy Team Leader!

n

This is an opportunity to take on a meaningful leadership role within a growing, clinician-led Allied Health team, while continuing to do the clinical work you love.

n

You'll help shape the future of MRT's physiotherapy service, support the development of our clinicians and contribute to the way we deliver care across the community.

n

With an initial 80/20 split between clinical work and leadership, you'll have the chance to grow into a broader leadership role as our physiotherapy team and services continue to develop.

What You'll Do

n

Provide clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to support physiotherapist development and team performance

n

Monitor team utilisation and contribute to workforce planning

n

Review and improve clinical practices and processes

n

Help develop new services, exploring options such as hydrotherapy and group exercise

n

Promote evidence-based practice and positive client outcomes

n





Contribute to physiotherapy recruitment and team growth

n

Partner with senior leadership on clinical and team priorities

n

Maintain a clinical caseload, including complex clients and presentations

n

What You'll Bring

n

Strong clinical experience in physiotherapy, with a background in community-based practice

n

Experience managing complex clients and presentations

n

Solid clinical reasoning, with knowledge of mobility, manual handling and evidence-based practice

n

Demonstrated understanding of the Support at Home or NDIS funding environments, with the ability to navigate these systems effectively

n

Experience mentoring, supporting or developing other clinicians

n

Ability to adapt your coaching and leadership style to different clinicians

n

Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, practical approach

n

Experience developing or introducing new clinical services

n

Experience improving clinical or operational processes

n

Previous formal supervision or team leadership experience

n

A clinical area of specialisation

n

You'll also need

Current AHPRA registration

n

Full working rights in Australia

n

A National Police Check

n

Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle

First Aid and CPR certification
