Job Description

Touchdown Helicopters is seeking an additional contractor FAA licensed S70/H60 rated engineer for the Australian summer. The role will be based in Victoria, Australia, with a start date in October 2026 and a commitment until at least the end of March 2027, with ongoing work for the right applicant.

Key responsibilities

n

Maintain a H60 Blackhawk helicopter, and associated support equipment (fire-fighting tank and bucket) in the field, to a high standard

n

Assist with PMI’s in the hangar pre/post fire season

n

About you

n

FAA licensed S70/H60 rated engineer – minimum 3 years experience on the H60

n

Field maintenance experience on fire-fighting type operations on other types

n

H60 PMI maintenance experience

n
