About the Role

n

As a Community based Oncology Nurse you will:

n

n
- Deliver safe, evidence-based oncology and haematology nursing care in the community.
n
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy and biological therapies.
n
- Assess, educate and support patients and their families throughout treatment.
n
- Coordinate care and collaborate with specialists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
n
- Provide clinical leadership, maintain best practice standards, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
n

About You

n

To be successful,



you will have:

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in oncology or haematology nursing.
n
- Experience administering chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy.
n
- Strong IV cannulation and CVAD management skills.
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and National Police Check.
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a community setting.
n
