Here at Kids Physio Newcastle, we attract physiotherapists who love to work with children and their families. We currently have 11 therapists who enjoy their work, and are passionate about the outcomes they are achieving with their clients. If you are the type of person who is motivated by seeing children progress and be the best they can be, we want to hear from you. We are looking to find our next team mate to work alongside.

Our practice works all year round, however you can choose to just work across the four school terms, meaning that you don't have to work in school holidays. Instead, you can spend that time catching up on those things at home you want to do, or if you have your own kids, hanging out with them.

We provide flexibility around working days, so you can choose to be

Full time working only school terms

n

Full time (52 weeks with annual leave of course)

Don't have paediatric experience?

n

That is ok. We have a wealth of knowledge in our team and we find that there are other areas of physiotherapy that develop relevant skills, such as neuro. At Kids Physio Newcastle we can provide learning and training opportunities for the right person.

What kinds of things are we needing you to do?

n

Complete initial assessments both in the community and the clinic

n

Establish goals for your clients in conjunction with families

n

Develop treatment plans that will result in outstanding outcomes and put the plans into action through physiotherapy programs.

n

Keep up with note writing and reports as needed, and be an all-round reliable and genuine person

n

Be you and bring your personality to the kids we work with

n

What would we be looking for in applicants?

n

Current AHPRA registration

n

Driver's license

n

A current working with children check

n

An ability to communicate well with us in our team, with families and with children.

n

Be ok with working out and about in the community with children, but also in the clinic.
