Profusion is partnering with a highly regarded, market-leading investment management organisation seeking an experienced Applications Support Developer to join their Technology Delivery team.

Role Overview n

Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance and enhancement of a suite of business-critical enterprise applications.

n

Working closely with development, testing, operations and business teams, you will investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis and deliver robust, long-term solutions. You'll also contribute to application enhancements, technical improvements and continuous optimisation initiatives across the technology landscape.

n

This role offers a strong mix of hands-on development and production support , making it ideal for someone who enjoys both building and maintaining enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities n

- Support and maintain critical enterprise applications
n
- Investigate and resolve application incidents, service requests and production issues
n
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions
n
- Analyse existing code and communicate technical findings to stakeholders
n
- Design, develop and enhance applications using Microsoft technologies
n
- Perform testing and create supporting unit tests for enhancements
n
- Support release, deployment and change management processes
n
- Develop and maintain database solutions and SQL queries
n
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams across global locations
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives
n
- Maintain support documentation, incident logs and knowledge articles
n

Experience & Skills nn
- Minimum 3 years' experience supporting enterprise applications
n
- Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
n
- Experience across .NET 8+, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API and Entity Framework
n
- Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development skills
n
- Understanding of SOLID principles, OOP and layered architecture
n




- Experience developing and supporting secure web services and APIs
n
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and GitHub
n
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving capability
n
- Experience working within structured development and deployment processes
n
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
n
