Renovations North Queensland is looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our Townsville team. You’ll work with our team of trades and apprentices, and trusted local subcontractors.
n
The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day renovations, refurbishment and maintenance projects completed by our team. Our projects include residential renovations, retirement-living refurbishments, property upgrades and general building repairs.
n
This role would suit a motivated and energetic trade qualified carpenter with some supervisory and costing experience.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
Liaising with our customers regarding new, in progress and completed projects
n
Managing our quoting queue for renovation, refurbishment and maintenance projects
n
Planning and overseeing the schedule including internal labour and coordination of subcontractors
n
Placing materials orders to ensure necessary stock levels
n
Managing workflow to ensure on time completion for maximum customer satisfaction
n
Quality inspections to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard
n
Updating current jobs with progressive costing to ensure profitability
n
Customer invoicing
n
Review time sheets, approve leave requests and liaise with office team for payroll enquiries
n
Team performance management as required
n
Review subcontractor invoicing
n
Liaise with office team to ensure timely subcontractor and payments
n
Leading the team with respect to workplace health and safety
n
Ensuring sensible and efficient use of company resources
Relevant residential renovation or maintenance experience
n
Experience quoting projects, managing costs and customer billing
n
Experience ordering materials
n
A Construction White Card
n
Good practical problem-solving ability
n
Strong attention to detail
n
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
Experience working in occupied homes, retirement-living environments or property maintenance would be well regarded.
