About the Role: n
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified chef to join our team of 14 kitchen staff.
n
You will be required to work a rotating roster including weekends with a mix of split and straight shifts.
n
40 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends. Shifts typically range from 9.30am-2.30pm / 5pm-9.30pm (split) & 1pm-9.30pm (straight)
n
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
n
n
- Setting up and stocking all sections of the kitchen
n
- Food preparation and cooking in all sections of the kitchen
n
- All aspects of stock control maintaining, ordering etc.
n
- Modern cooking techniques
n
- Developing recipes, food presentation and designing menus
n
- All cleaning and safety aspects
n

Skills and Experience: n
Personable individual with a passion for food & great pub fare.
n
n
- Must live in Bendigo or be willing to relocate
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred
n
- Minimum 2 years experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen environment
n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification required
n
n
