Our client is a large government organisation who are seeking a Commercial Support Officer to join their team in Canberra .

n

Role summary:

n

The Commercial Support Officer will provide high-level administrative, procurement and governance support to the commercial team. The role will coordinate procurement activities, support contract and financial administration, maintain project records and provide executive and project support to senior leaders and project teams.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Coordinate procurement activities, including documentation, approvals, evaluation processes, timelines and stakeholder inputs.
n
- Support contract administration, consultant briefs, purchase orders, project budgets,



milestones, deliverables and expiry dates.
n
- Provide high-level administrative and governance support, including reports, briefing notes, meeting coordination, minutes, action tracking, records and invoice processing.
n

Selection Criteria:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative and operational support within a busy team environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
n
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, including experience preparing reports, correspondence, briefs, presentations and meeting documentation.
n
- Experience supporting procurement, contract/project administration, financial processes and accurate record keeping, with solid attention to detail and the ability to identify and elevate risks.
