The opportunity
n
We are seeking an experienced and confident Senior Credit Officer to join our Credit team based in North Ryde.
n
In this role, you will take ownership of a high-volume NSW debtor ledger managing collections, aged debt, account queries and claims through to resolution.
n
You will need to be comfortable working at pace and confident managing your own ledger. More than simply collecting overdue accounts, we are looking for someone who has a solid eye for detail, follows issues through to completion and knows how to work through complex account queries and claims.
n
You will build strong relationships with customers, Account Managers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly, improve outcomes and support healthy cashflow across the business.
n
Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
- Manage a high-volume NSW ledger of customer accounts.
n
- Proactively collect outstanding and aged debt within agreed trading terms.
n
- Manage high-volume collections and prioritise accounts requiring follow-up.
n
- Investigate and resolve customer account queries, aged items, and claims.
n
- Take ownership of outstanding issues and follow claims through to resolution.
n
- Complete account reconciliations using Excel and investigate discrepancies.
n
- Build strong working relationships with customers, Account Managers, and internal stakeholders.
n
- Work closely with the Credit Manager to manage delinquent or higher-risk accounts.
n
- Maintain accurate customer records and notes within the system.
n
- Assist with credit limit reviews and increases within delegated authority.
n
- Ensure decisions and actions align with CSR's credit policies and delegations.

About you
n
We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller / Senior Credit Officer who is confident managing a busy ledger and knows how to stay on top of competing priorities.
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
- Strong experience in collections, aged debt, and account reconciliation.
n
- Confidence managing customer queries and claims from initial investigation through to resolution.
n
- Intermediate Excel skills, particularly for account reconciliations.
n
- SAP experience is highly regarded.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Confidence having conversations with customers regarding overdue accounts.
n
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.
n
- An organised, proactive approach and the ability to manage a high workload.
n
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude.
