Site Supervisor – Sporting Field & Civil Construction

About the Role n

We are seeking a full‑time Site Supervisor to oversee projects across Greater Melbourne, with a strong focus on sporting field construction and associated civil works. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role where no two days are the same. You’ll be managing a small team, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities: n

Supervise and deliver sporting field and civil construction projects including bulk earthworks, drainage, and pavements.

Work alongside engineers and project managers to plan and resource projects.

Lead and develop a small site team, including operators and labourers.

n

Manage subcontractors and maintain strong client relationships.

n

Oversee safety, environmental compliance, quality assurance, and program delivery.

n

Interpret construction plans and ensure works are executed to spec.

n

Operate machinery where required (excavator, grader, posi-track, trucks).

About You: n

3–5+ years of supervisory experience in civil construction (sporting field experience highly regarded).

n

Strong team leadership skills with a proven record of training and developing staff.

n

Network of subcontractors and suppliers preferred.

n

GPS machine control and survey equipment experience desirable.

n

Positive attitude, proactive work ethic, and ability to start promptly.
