We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Coordinator / Educational Leader to join our team at Indooroopilly Outside School Hours Care. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of our vibrant outside school hours care service located in Indooroopilly, QLD.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Assist the Coordinator in the overall management and administration of the service
n
- Take on a leadership role in the overseeing the educational program, ensuring it aligns with the My Time our Place Learning Framework
n
- Mentor and support the educators in delivering high-quality care and engaging learning experiences for the children
n
- Maintain positive relationships with children, families and the broader school community
n
- Ensure the service operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements
n
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through reflective practice
n

What We're Looking For nn
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role within the outside school hours care sector
n




- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and the ability to translate this into practice
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
n
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independent decision-making
n
- Enthusiasm for continual professional development and a commitment to providing the best possible care and education for children
